it was made by Henri met de Bles and dates from the first half of the 16th century

summer cottage near the Black Water, Poederlee

in the woods

there are quite a few summer cottages in the woods near the Black Water,
some are still inhabited, but many are empty and severely neglected...
I think they ruin the area, but it's also fun to poke around there if the opportunity arises :)

last weekend

great weather on saturday
but sunday was grey & wet

days are growing longer
but today was rather dark & gloomy
I'm longing for spring now that the holidays are behind us
but that's still a long way I fear :)

I went for a walk in the park with mieke this afternoon
and a pot of pea soup in on the stove
darkness & cold still has its bright sides!
