Samplers
Some detail shots of samplers for an exhibition that is yet to come in May; I was helping my friend with the mounting of a linen cloth on which the samplers are attached and was allowed to take some photos, hence.
The exhibit will be at Hotel de Sens.

J. had made some kind of bridge with a straw & ruler and I was making a mikado pattern with strips of paper.

the ostrich comes from a 70s craft book and is made from an almond, some unpeeled peanuts, calabash seeds and two black beads for the eyes.

Fig tree
a leafless fig tree, with the fruits of last year, all black and shriveled up, gives a nice pattern
the same garden in April, two years ago.

Hello Spring!
They forecast 16°C for next week, that is quite different compared to last week when it was still snowing.
