The abandoned Dollhouse.

This house has been unoccupied for ages...

... but in ancient times, many residents have
left their traces on the walls; the wallpaper prints
varies from classic to very sixties.

The house has a front and backdoor, a terrace,
many windows...

... and a staircase.

Some rooms have linoleum tiles, some full

There used to be electricity too in the house,
I've seen some broken cables.
The bathroom in my previous post comes from
this house too; I was thinking,
this place could be the perfect setting for 'Psycho',
that is for dolls :^)
What do you think?
For more abandoned places, look here

(this house belongs to Lieven and Nana)

Some Sunday night shots.

Bought a wooden mouse in the thrift store the
other day; I will name him José :^)
What do you think?

In the mood for love, my favorite song.

Good Night!
Tomorrow Monday :^)

How to build a city...

... with papertrash :^)

This collage was made for a project which is
already cancelled in the meantime, so I can
show it here. It was meant as some kind of
tutorial; as you can see, it's a city made of papertrash.
I used the same technique as for the mobile boxes,
although there's little technique involved here.

So, here's the secret: throw everything you have on
papertrash on a sheet of paper and move the pieces
till you have the constellation you like, than glue

I took some parts of the collage for this embroiderie.

Walk on Fonsny Avenue.

I went to see 'A story of deception' at Wiels.
The pictures above were taken at Avenue Fonsny
on our way home.

Francis Alÿs, Patriotic Tales 1997
found here.
Look here too.
And here.

I'm sorry I've been a bit neglectful lately, blame
it to the mobiles :^)
and the pink cushion needed a facelift

Need to change the flowers too.
Isaac Bashevis Singer is my favourite lately.

Happy Weekend everybody!
