magnolia





I brought some magnolia leaves from my yesterday walk,
they have such a deep brown color as they were varnished;
it's just leaves, but I really like them.

    where I grew up ( on a 4th floor apartment) there were two huge magnolia trees that I could observed in all their glory. I'm quite fond of magnolias too :)

    wow, that's amazing. speaking of varnish, i've been looking into using leaves to "varnish" wood. it seems like you can extract a nice color from magnolia leaves. your photography is beautiful as usual. :)

    sounds interesting! have you already tried it out?
    I know they dye with walnut, it gives a beautiful cognac color.
