I did some try-outs with strongly diluted silkpaint on cotton; this is not really the way to dye yarns, but I wanted this mottlet effect;
still with those kangaroo paws in my mind :)

always in need for soft pink tones, so I'm thinking about dyeing my own yarns again, at least some shades;
I already sorted out the pink and reddish samples, the colorshades of the kangaroo paw were my inspiration :)
