I did some try-outs with strongly diluted silkpaint on cotton; this is not really the way to dye yarns, but I wanted this mottlet effect;
still with those kangaroo paws in my mind :)

    a lot of prettiness in this post. i like your mottled dyed yarn and how it mimics the fuzzy mottled colour on the kangaroo paws.

    en die laatste foto: ze lijken wel gemaakt van vilt!
    zo'n fijne sfeer in deze foto's
    zomers ook, terwijl de donkere luchten
    zich alweer samenpakken....

    die eerste foto is van een poosje geleden toen de kastanjebloesem in bloei stond :)
