This is part three of my big wardrobe clean-up.
The jacket has shrunk bit by bit and I gained some
kilos over the years :-)
I felt pretty rough today, spend the greater part of
the Sunday in bed with a sore throat and aching muscles,
but enjoyed reading my very first moomin book!
For those who are not hibernating, keep warm!
oh gosh this one is so lovely...what are you going to do with it???
ReplyDeleteStay warm and rest...the best part of getting sick is that you are allowed to treat yourself!
ReplyDeleteXOX
to alessandra: for the same person as the previous one, it was too tight for the other interested.
ReplyDeleteit looks cosy:)
ReplyDeleteahhh she's so lucky!
ReplyDeletemay I suggest a give away with your next unwearable item? hi hi hi not that I'm lucky enough to win but still...I would love to give it a try :)))and sure plenty of others girls out there ;)
oooh, I always come back to the moomin books, such great reads whether you are young or old!
ReplyDeleteto alessandra: i've been thinking about it too, but the problem is that they're all very close-fitting and most of he time too short!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm planning a give-away soon, something new, I just need more time :-)
cute cardi! i've been sick too. hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeletehope you feel better soon- make yourself a little cocktail of ginger, garlic, chilli, honey + lemon juice- it helps! the eskimo jacket is gorgeous, did you make it?
ReplyDeleteThat jacket is beautiful - the craftsmanship, ah, it is difficult to get items like that in a shop. Is it handmade? PS I loved the Stellet Licht link you gave. It was a perfect 4 minutes and 49 seconds to start my week off - I am going to keep that link and watch it at the start of every week. I loved the animal sounds, it reminded me of the little village my grandfather lived in - the people all kept cows, chickens, sheep, and it sounded like that early in the mornings! PS The paper tubes - what can I say - I kept thinking - I can MAKE something with this, but I never found the perfect project!
ReplyDeleteHi Renilde! Oh you poor thing - I hope you're feeling better soon. Whenever I'm sick I always take a spoonful a day of Manuka Honey... it works wonders! Love the Eskimo jacket... the photos and the styling are all just sublime. Love love love Moomin so much... I'm thinking of embroidering some Moomin brooches - do you know the copyright rules for Moomin? It's so old now, surely no-one actually owns it anymore or am I being incredibly naive??? :) Hope you feel better soon, hon. Kylie x
ReplyDeleteI spent the day cleaning my closet also! That is a cozy-looking sweater, must be hard to give away. Good luck!
ReplyDeletewat een mooi detail van rode kruisjes op de mouwomslag - nog even wachten, de krokusjes komen langzaam boven
ReplyDeleteone little eskimo is going to be very happy to get that beautiful jacket:)
ReplyDeletei hope you will get better soon. moomin books will help in that, for sure. i read at least one or two of them in a year. i´m a big Tove fan.
Oh what a nice little sweater! By the way , the author of the moomins Tove Jansson has also written two books for adults (perhaps more) - quite particular but both very good. Very nordic in their feel. The summer book is one of them and a winters tale I think is the other.
ReplyDeletezorg maar dat er nog iets warms overblijft in je kast, de winter is nog niet helemaal voorbij. veel beterschap!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon, my little boy is ill too at the mo... keep warm and rest :)
ReplyDeletehi renilde
