Mieke's favourites












I asked Mieke to pick out some samples she likes
the most, this is her choice.
Could't catch that brilliant delft blue I used for
the sample in the first and bottom image, too bad :)
All the samples are double-sided.

    I love the blue so much - it is my favourite! these are so beautiful - I imagine they would be wonderful to touch and hold. :)

    The first blue fabric is my favouriet of this lot - I love the blue and the lacy effect. Oh, and that blue sky! So different from African blue skies which have a lighter, almost bleached look ...

    over screenprinten:
    Ze hebben inderdaad tegenwoordig verven op waterbasis, zelfs milieuvriendelijke textielverven, waar je wel een paar druppels jak in moet doen om het langdurigheid te geven. Maar je kunt je restant verf zo in de gootsteen spoelen. Fantastisch voor de thuisprinter dus! Ze hebben wel een minder glossy resultaat, hoor. Je ziet het ook wel aan de print.

    Als ik mag kiezen, de twee op de onderste foto. Maar het is moeilijk kiezen. Vind ze allemaal mooi. Mijn vingers jeuken. Ik zou die lapjes willen voelen.
