About eggs.
Don't need to say I've eaten a lot of eggs today, mostly chocolate
of course :)
the eggs in the picture are made by a Swiss friend of my sister;
it's an Easter tradition in Switzerland to cook eggs in a mixture
of onion peel and other herbs and roots, almost too pretty to eat!
I've found a tutorial here.

ReplyDeletemy mother used to boil them also with the onions. but this decoration with the leaves and herbs i also learned in Switzerland. they look really pretty.
ReplyDeletethese eggs look so, so nice + natural. *like* :)
ReplyDeletewe do it the same... only we use parts of old nylon socks instead of thread which probably makes it even easier.
ReplyDeleteyou're right Ana, with a nylon sock it is much more easier; I think my sister and her Swiss friend were using nylons too.
