I was photographing some mobiles last weekend, that's quite a job cause a mobile is just about the hardest thing to photograph, I mean, the result is usually disappointing and the colors never come at their best; the light ones are always overexposed and in the dark tones you see no color difference, sigh :)
This time I've put a black mdf board in the hallway and made the pictures a bit underexposed, so the colors would come out better; if you look closely you can see a small eclipse in the picture above :)

diary of a cactus

I'm the owner of a cactus that only grows in height and never makes lateral shoots; at times he grows too tall and breaks off and everything starts again from scratch; a Sisyphus story, as it were,
so...

I chopped my beloved cactus in three pieces; the other two parts also come in the pot, but I've read - in my favorite cactus book - that it is better for them to dry for a while...

... so there will be a sequel soon :)

Knots Collective a pop-up shop

Alessandra from la casita will have a pop-up shop in London during the design week
So,
I was making some new labels for the cushions and mobiles, a time consuming job I must admit and maybe I just let them print the next time, but I'm happy with the result now and glad I've crafted them together myself; I think these are nice colors for another cushion :^)

I've been very busy lately with making new mobiles and haven't had the time to make good pictures, so I made these shots very quickly in between. I promise to post better ones :)
