I'm working on the pincushion series, this was
the easy & fun part. I was trying to create
the atmosphere of a small fishing village by
using simple geometric shapes and primary colours.
I hope you can hear the seagulls and the distant
voices of the fisherman by looking at these.

Time for the reverse and filling now.

Was zaterdag in de vroege avond aan de kust in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Genieten in de duinen, zicht op zee. Enkele paaltjes. Zeilbootje. Vrachtschip.
ReplyDeleteStereofoto op mijn netvlies: links wat ik zag, rechts wat ik wou zien. Kleurige paaltjes, driehoek-vierkant-lijn verandert in een vrachtschip, nog een kleurtje, wat krullerige rook. Zalig dat schouwspel! Zitten jouw naaldkussentjes daar voor iets tussen?
