I found these three bobbin laced doilies in the second-
hand shop for almost nothing, pretty filthy but intact;
good for a photoshoot Western Style! The rain is still
pouring down today so, there's no lack of nostalgic mood.
Besides, saw an awesome beautiful western last week,
which is still affecting my brain .
OK, here we go.
... and I have a soft spot for bad guy, Al Swearengen :)
All the pics are taken in my room.
hoi renilde, leuk om je berichtje te lezen.
ReplyDeleteik volg je blog al een tijdje, je maakt erg mooi en bijzonder werk.
good to know that the bleak weather isn;t stopping you !
ReplyDeletefun HAS to be had at all times :)..lovely post
great western! It is so pretty! I really love the horsies on the doilies.
ReplyDeletelaced doilies totally make for a good photoshoot.
I will wish away the rain for you.
hahahaha renilde!
ReplyDeleteI really like the butterflies on both dollies. What a good find! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is wild there in your room. How do you manage to sleep? Listening to shooting and horse neighing?
ReplyDeleteNow this is something new about you Renilde! A western fan?! That's gorgeous. I can see the appeal. I've never seen these shows but the bad guy in Deadwood looks very familiar - he's a famous British actor, isn't he? I remember him from lots of shows in the past. Love your doily finds too - they look fabulous in your room. Thanks for sharing :) K
ReplyDeleteRenilde you are the best story-teller ever. So magic!
ReplyDeleteI like your western theme. it´s always possible to find a use for the secondhand finds!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, I love doilies. I have just bought a few at our local car boot sale. I think they might be sewn together to make a cushion cover - when I get time. In the meantime they are resting in a cupboard - no Wild Western movie shoots for them!
ReplyDeleteOh my! My father was a great lover of Western-themed novels. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of my dad.
ReplyDeleteI love Deadwood..and I got Cowboys in my family
ReplyDeleteguess that's why I love it, enjoy your weekend
love your post! i'm a descendant of the Dalton Gang, so there's outlaw blood in me. Yeehaw! ;)
ReplyDeleteto cheryl and kay: WOW!!, is that really true????
ReplyDeletei'm very impressed!
LOVE! My great grandfather came from Sweden to America and was from what my aunt has told me a very wild cowboy....he later settled down in Canada, got married and had a family and many moons later I was born...do I get to count in as a cowboy too under his reputation? ;)
ReplyDeletesuper mooie kleedjes
