At my sister's place

I only have to make a twenty-minute train
journey to see this. It feels like an invitation to
paradise .

Rhubarb from the garden.

The bees were swarming out.

My sister in the middle, the pink lady is Joyce
(a first class chatterer), and the other one is me.

This nature reserve is within ten minutes
walking distance.

crocheted nicknacks

button&boat
buoy&buttons
cables
fruits de mer
surf

To keep a blog with the intention of showing my
work and to make some order in all my stuff,
was my first aim.
Till now everything is stored (or better stuffed)
into many IKEA-boxes.
I'm always looking for something!
Yesterday, i was sorting out my small
crochings, but soon it ended up in playtime.

three-act mobile

I sleep&work in the same place. When i open
my eyes in the morning i see this.
My plan for the day usually starts by staring
at this mobile. It is a fixed routine.
I always get my best ideas in bed when facing
with practical problems. For example:
how to croche a 3dim-heart without having seams.
These photo's where taken when i was still in bed
with the curtains closed.
the rough structure of the images is probably
because I manipulated them afterwards.
I'm not an expert.
Anyway, i just wanted to show this bed-fabricated
mobile.

I took some snapshots from Arthur today, but
i see now, he hasn't blown his nose properly.

This portrait was made last winter.

children's sorrow

Not getting permission from your mom or
dad to keep a pet, can be a bitter disappoint-
ment for a child. When looking at this drawing
i almost feel the yearning and than the grief
inside the girl. That's why Saul Steinberg is one
of my top favourites.

Peacock & Rocket

These two needleworks are part of the ' Wormhole '
series, a work still in progress. It is because the two
complete each other so lovely, i gave them
a post for their own.

The egg is made of french knots stiches.
Nice to do, but taking up a lot of time.
