For Al, a white story.

36°C
I stay at home in my underwear and try to cool
down by sticking my head under the shower,
or in the kitchensink from time to time; that's
where a have met Al for the first time.
I dedicate this poem to him for he died from a broken
toe , unable to hunt anymore.
These images came popping up in my head after an almost
sleepless night, they only needed some editing to give
them sense, I think the poem is done now;
you might recognize some images of Dante's
famous Inferno and other stuff, but I guess that is
what automatic writing is, a mix of impressions and
thoughts, as in a dream.

here we go :-)

I'm leaving.

I'm leaving tomorrow at noon and I will take with
me: my sweetheart Arthur, Barbarella, Jean Valjean,
Marcel, the Elk, Ben & Eugène, Little Joe, Popo & Benny
and all the animals of the forest, even the Big Red one;
I'm taking too the animals of the dark room,
both the extincted and those who have existed
for a long time, everybody is coming with me, they
all meet at the birdhouse, except Little Joe, he's in my
pocket for he's too teeny-weeny:-)
( but brave! )

It's gonna be a tough day tomorrow, but at the end
a sunny and cosy house will welcome us :-)
Have a nice weekend everybody!

Bye, bye Garden :-)

The Studio, a brown story.

I'm running a small film studio :
'tea box home cinéma'...

... for it is built from an old tea box and some
papertrash.

Little Joe helped me with the heavy stuff, such as
pulling down some walls and ceilings and...

... installing the struts, so the whole construction
will keep upright.

I was taking care for the finishing touch and the 'looks' :-)

My speciality will be documentaries, and maybe now
and then a remake of an old classic, such as
'Gone with the Wind'
We'll see ...

Tonight we have a guest: please have a look!

Goodnight and sweet dreams :-)

Arthur's rhyme.

i'm working on my flickr, i made my first sets yesterday
evening, one is called 'While i'm sleeping', featuring
Arthur as the leading man; it is a set about dreams
and desires and the mystery of life, which can be really hard,
but wonderful at the same time.

This silly rhyme came popping up in my brain this morning,
when i was still in bed; I tried to imagine how a poem would
sound in case it was made by a doll, like Arthur.

sweet dreams :-)

When i have to pee at night.

When i'm going to the toilet at night, usually round
3:00 or 4:00 in the morning, there's always
nocturnal activity in the house;
that is because dolls don't have to sleep, they can
if they want to, but they don't really need night's
rest to stay alert.
It could be they have hereditary wu wei qualities,
what means that they are in a sort of active inactivity,
a state of mind we humans have to search a lifetime.
Of course it could also be that their brains are largely
empty and straightforward, what makes the sleeping
also superfluous. There's still less known about doll's
brainactivities.
Anyway, when i 'm having my pee at night, they are
mostly playing and hanging around in the room
between my atelier, and the kitchen;
it is a pretty dark place, that's why the pics are unsharp.
The photo of Arthur in full play was taken on a sunday
morning in the atelier. I had a secondary smaller pee
at 6:30 when i took that snapshot.
They were so wrapped up in their play, they didn't
notice me.
By the way, dolls don't need to pee eihter:-)
What a life!

Sweet yellow and red story

My ultimate summer vacation feeling is
basically formed in my early childhood.

It depends on the quantity of cherries...

and sunshine. If possible Eternal Sunshine
Summer is also connected with my favourite
noises and sounds from my youth,
such as...

the sound of the very first fly, coming into the
kitchen, the quarreling sparrows all over the
place, the Tour de France on tv, the sawmill
nearby my grandparents place, the screaming
swallows in the sky, all these noises are recorded
in my brain forever.

But i'm telling this story in red and yellow, because
when i was a kid, i had some very rigid and
dogmatic ideas about colour. Such as: yellow
added with bleu turns into green, and if you
want again the bleu you have to add some
more yellow:). And also: red and yellow clash with
each other. Never!!!!!!!!!! use them together!

I remember one day there was 'klein ,klein,
kleuterke' on tele, a children's programme
hosted by Tante Terry and her squirrel 'Kraakje'
She managed to encourage the children
in the studio to combine vivid colours in their
drawings, such as r&y because they match so
perfectly together... Why grow to maturity if
an adult person could tell such nonsens in front
of the whole of Flanders!!!!!!!

Anyway, i'm less fundamental concerning
this matter nowadays, as you can see, i even have put
my cherries into a yellow dish:)
And the yellow and red are dangerously close
together on the pillow i'm working on.

And...

i feel sorry for all the other flies and
mosquitos that have come after the
very first one of depriving them from
there tiny places under the sun :( FIN.
