Traditional Japanese Small Motif.




It was hard to make a selection, so i will post
this book in episodes.
This is episode 1, the small motifs on paper.

  11. wow this book looks amazing!!!
    there used to be lots of wonderful fabric patterns for kimonos, but since we stopped wearing kimonos daily these designs were lost too. It would be difficult to find a book like this even in Japan today I would think!
