Flowers.

I used to paint flowers on silk a lot, especially

peonies; this one is another of the many colourversions

I once have made from the same flowerdesign;

I've never had plans with these paintings; just

couln't stop inventing new colour combinations :-)

The weeping woman with the peonies is a press cutting and

silly me, I've cut off some important information,

such as the name of the photographer:-(

But I do remember that this Ukrainian woman got visit from her

family when she stayed in a mental home and that they brought

her some peonies from her own garden.

I also remember I got this photo from the weekend supplement

of 'De Morgen', some three years ago.

Does anyone remember the name of the photographer?

I would be very pleased if you could tell me!

It is easy, you see :-)

I got this tutorial in my mailbox the other day;

didn't knew what 'perspotjes' were, pressed soil

for the seeds.

These were made by Billie in the greenhouse of

her favourite uncle.

The beans etc...

The beansprouts grow like hell, I'm afraid that is
because they need more sunlight; should I take
the risk to put them outside in bigger containers?
They say untill half May there's chance of night frost :-(

When you have a closer look, you can see tiny sprouts
of sunflower together with the beans, to save place.



The beans are coming out, one week ago!

My new home.

Hello everybody, may I introduce you to Stella,

the cat downstairs from my new home.

I can't show you any interesting pictures yet,

so I took some photos of the Wisteria that is growing from

the courtyard to the second floor; the blue sky photo

with the blackbird nest is taken from the kitchen window;

the babybirds have fledged last sunday :-)

There's also a huge Virginia Creeper on the other side

of the building, I will take some photos when he's got more

leaves; I guess they both need a few warm&sunny days more.

The drawing on the wall is an image of a little ghost :-)

Some random pictures of my room.

Found this embroiderie in the drawers last week;
it belongs to a pincushion series from a year ago;
for some unknown reason it disappeared amongst
my fabrics, and it slipped my mind.
I made the cushion this morning and hope it will
meet his new owner very soon :-)

Reparation day.

I had to carry out some repairs today, you know,

the usual stuff, sewing on some buttons, replacing a zipper

that doesn't work anymore etc... not really exciting.

Too bad this gorgeous 1950 sewing storage is not mine,

I saw it by accident on aapc today,

you can have a bid if you like on ebay and

see more photos.

Isbells was on the radio, love this song :-)
